“Spirit Movers” is the name of our rotation Sunday School progarm for first through fifth graders. Children rotate weekly through three “stations” and come together for a children’s chapel in the fourth and final week. The Imagination, Creation and Service staions help the children study a new Bible story every four weeks study through words, crafts, drama, outreach etc. During the wrap-up Eucharist that ends each rotation, the children have the opportunity to get to know the rector as a person as well as experience Holy Eucharist in an age-appropriate way.

Class begins at 9:30 a.m. At 10:20 a.m., children meet their families in Neve Hall to attend the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Anyone who has a gift for teaching and enjoys working with elementary shcoool children is invited to sign up for one or more rotations. Adults work in teams to two to implement the pre-planned lesson. All supplies are provided. Teachers meet for prayer before each rotation.

The theme for 2011-2012 is “Surprised by God.”
