Other Ministries and Programs for Children

spi 1.jpgChildren ages 8 through senior high are welcome to join the Youth Choir which sings on the fourth Sunday of the month during the school year and at a number of holiday services and events. There are several fun activities, such as ice skating, an egg dyeing party and pizza lunches especially for these young singers. In addition, the Youth Choir participates in a special service project each year. Practices are held immediately after the 10:30 a.m. service every Sunday during the school year.

Treasure Kids is a program for children ages 4-2nd grade that meets in the Imagination Station after the children’s homily during the 10:30 a.m. service. Parents may pick up their children immediately after the service.

Children and teens are welcome to become acolytes once they have reached 6th grade and have been confirmed. Acolytes serve an important role of service for the Sunday morning worship at both the 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services. Acolytes have ample opportunity for training throughout the year.  If you are interested in becoming an acolyte, please contact the Worship Committee.
