Nzali Church is Under Roof!

With thanks to many the friends, contributions and support from St. Paul’s Ivy, encouragement from the Carpenter’s Kids office and the work and material contributions of the people of Nzali Parish, the new church is now under roof!
The Carpenter’s Kids program was started by Bishop Mdimi Mhogolo in Central Tanganyika in Tanzania.  “Carpenter’s Kids” are Tanzanian HIV/AIDS orphans and other vulnerable children who are selected after screening by their parishes and a centralized screening panel. This program asks us to commit $100 to support a child in school there for an entire year. The Carpenter’s Kids child is issued a uniform and shoes, a backpack and supplies, all necessary to attend school, and a nutritious meal every school day. St. Paul’s Ivy is committed to supporting a group of 50-70 Carpenter’s Kids’ children and to partner with the parishioners of St. Paul’s, Nzali, prayerfully, financially and in many other ways.
