A total of $41.00 was collected in pennies. The Rev. John Seville personally matched that amount for a total of $82.00. The children elected to use the money to purchase food items for our St. Paul’s, Ivy food pantry. Good work! Thank you to all who contributed!

The January 31st Soup Kitchen Service Day was a huge success thanks to the generosity of our St. Paul’s, Ivy parishioners. We had 12 volunteers to help serve approximately 150 guests. The majority of the guests were men under age 50. The number of homeless seems to be on the rise in this area. The next Soup Kitchen is May 29th.

The St.Paul’s, Ivy Men’s Group will meet February 15 at 7:00 p.m. The topic will be “Stewardship of the Earth.” Guest speaker Sarah DuPont will show the trailer for her new documentary “Amazon Gold.”
