Backpacks and School Supplies

We encourage and support the children in our Outreach families in their education. At the beginning of each school year, Outreach provides backpacks filled with school supplies and discount store gift cards for other basic needs for the school children in our Outreach families. We provide, as we are able, filled backpacks for a number of other area children when requested. 

We will be collecting school supplies for our Out­reach children in July. A sign-up board will be available in the back of the church July 18 and July 25 (and the following Sunday if the names are not all gone.) If you would like to help our outreach students, please take a list, sign your name on the sheet, fill a backpack with the items on the list, and return it to the church by August 8 with the student’s name attached. Pa­rishioners may also make monetary donations (marked “for school supplies”) toward this effort.If you have any other questions or comments about our outreach programs, send e-mail to Denise Foster or Debbie Weaver.
