St. Paul’s, Ivy serves in the Soup Kitchen at Christ Episcopal Church, Charlottesville, on any 5th Tuesday of a month. We provide the food, prepare it, serve it and clean up afterwards. Our next day of service will be Tuesday, August 31, 2010.

 You Can Help

If you would like to work in the soup kitchen or contribute family-sized, frozen lasagna or packages of raw, baby carrots, please contact the Soup Kitchen coordinator.  We maintain a list of those donating food to make sure that supplies are adequate for each work day.  This volunteer service would also be appropriate for teens or Scout troops.
