Since food is the most basic of needs, we ask few questions when someone calls asking for emergency food. This effort is coordinated by volunteers, with the able assistance of our church secretary. Emergency food is stored and distributed from Kirklea.

In general, volunteers check our emergency food supplies frequently to make sure they are adequate. The volunteers shop for emergency food supplies and restock as necessary. They also packs basic food supplies for two families, plus special bags for infants, the elderly and large families. Bags of basic cleaning and paper supplies are also packed and ready for emergency calls.
