Our Outreach Fuel Assistance Program is designed to help our monthly food pantry clients with the rising costs of heating their homes. During the winter months, we may receive requests for financial help with bills for home heating oil, propane and electricity. Some families heat with wood and we try to find someone to provide split firewood for those in need of this aid. We also receive calls from other families in need of emergency fuel assistance in Western Albemarle – we provide help on a case by case basis.
