Psalm 119:49-72 Psalm 49 Psalm 53Genesis 37:25-361 Corinthians 2:1-13Mark 1:29-45

Remember your word to your servant,
for you have given me hope.
My comfort in my suffering is this:
Your promise preserves my life.
Psalm 119:49-50

The message of this particular scripture is one of hope, comfort and of remembering. Remembering can be hard sometimes, especially when we are discouraged, grieving or even depressed. Let’s face it, even the best Christians have bad days. It’s easy to be afraid at times. Christians must never forget that our all-powerful God has made a promise to always be gracious and loving. God’s words are a comfort. Let’s remember His promise. He remembers us, no matter what.

Dear Lord, Thank you for loving me. Please help me to remember that You are in control. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
