The Adventures of “Flat Jesus”

A packet including a “Flat Jesus” along with simple instructions is available in the back of the church. Help yourself to one! It is a great way to remember that Jesus is always with us, wherever we go. “Flat Jesus” reminds us to keep Christ at the center of our lives even, or especially, when we are far from our church home. As you are out and about this summer, take Jesus along for the adventure. You’ll love taking “Flat Jesus” out to dinner or the park, to exotic locations such as Europe or the Outer Banks, to the zoo or to camp – wherever you and your family go. You can even take “Flat Jesus” with you when you worship at another church on your travels. Then document the adventures with pictures you share with your St. Paul’s Ivy family. Send your photos to audi@stpaulsivy.org and they will be used to decorate the children’s bulletin board downstairs. You can also upload your photos and share them to our St. Paul’s Ivy Facebook page. [“Flat Jesus” was created from the basis of a children’s book called Flat Stanley, written by Jeff Brown.]
