Diocesan Visioning at St. Paul’s, Ivy | January 30

Thursday, January 30, 2020 | 6:30pm, Parish Hall

St. Paul’s, Ivy is a host site for one of this year’s Visioning Sessions conducted by the Diocese of Virginia. All are welcome to attend, and we encourage all parishioners at St. Paul’s to consider attending this special session to ask questions and provide feedback as part of the larger diocesan body. Bishop Susan Goff will lead our Visioning Session, and will allow us to break into small groups based on various ministry areas. Each small group discussion will be centered on the following questions:

• What do you think is God’s vision for this area of ministry in the Diocese of Virginia?
• How might you imagine our working together on this? For example, what is your congregation doing/passionate about in this area? How can that action/passion be a part of our our wider work? What do you need from others to live more fully into this ministry?

A simple RSVP is required to participate in this Visioning Session, which may be done through the Diocese of Virginia website. Tickets are free, but an RSVP is crucial to guide our planning of small group sessions. The Diocese of Virginia looks forward to gathering as many of your thoughts as possible, understanding that although we are a large and diverse diocese, we are all bound by God’s love.
