We are brimming with gratitude upon the gift of a grand piano in our sanctuary. On Thursday afternoon, a new Kimball baby grand was delivered to St. Paul’s as a generous gift from a parishioner. We are excited for the addition of this instrument that will help us expand out worship opportunities in the sanctuary of St. Paul’s. Using boards to protect the floor, movers from Charlottesville Piano moved the piano down the aisle to its new home below the pulpit.
We hope this piano will glorify God for years to come, adding diversity to the soundscape of our worship, and allowing us to perform more musical styles with authenticity. We envision the piano serving as a supplement to our beautiful organ, being particularly useful in future Celtic and Taize services.
