Monthly Food Pantry
The St. Paul’s Ivy Monthly Food Pantry is an ongoing effort to help and support approximately 50 families (more than 100 people) from the Western Albemarle area. Volunteers purchase food, cleaning supplies, health products and household items from the Thomas Jefferson Area Food Bank as well as from several local discount stores. Supplies are transported to church, unpacked, repacked in appropriate quantities and distributed to local families each month. The families served are also given special assistance with school supplies, Thanksgiving food, Christmas food and gifts and other help as needed.
If you would like to contribute NON-PERISHABLE, UNOPENED food, cleaning supplies or health products, we will gladly accept them in the Outreach Room (next to the little kitchen by Neve Hall) for use in the Monthly Food Pantry. Click here for a list of the items we try to stock. We are always in need of brown paper grocery bags too.
