Children’s Chapel
At our 10:30 a.m. Sunday service, children of all ages are invited to process out of the sanctuary with our chapel leaders as the congregation sings the hymn of praise. They will be led downstairs into our children’s chapel for a time of interactive reflection on the gospel lesson of the day, and then brought back into the church in time for Holy Communion.
Children’s Sunday with Children’s Homily
The final Sunday of each month is Children’s Sunday! Children stay in the church during the 10:30 a.m. worship service and are invited to gather at the front of the chancel following the Gospel reading for a special homily. We also are blessed to hear the Offertory sung by our Children’s Choir, led by Allison Kretlow.
Following the service, all are invited to the Parish Hall for an ice cream treat served by our Youth (ice water and lemonade will also be available).
St. Paul’s Welcomes Wiggly Worshipers!
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me,” and he meant it! St. Paul’s, Ivy is blessed to have such a thriving, intergenerational parish with so many families with young children! To better accommodate the needs of our families, we’ve set up a special space where parents can bring their children during the service to get the wiggles out when needed, or just take a break when being in church gets to be a little overwhelming. This new space, located in the Parish Hall, also allows families to keep up with the worship service on the big screen TVs. Children aged 3 and under are also always welcome in our Nursery, which is open during both Sunday morning services. Have questions? Email ">Mthr. Amanda or Miss Audi. Thank you for bringing your children to church!
