Sunday Morning Fellowship
Our fellowship times, held following Sunday services, offer connection, conversation, and community. These lively weekly events are wonderful ways for our parish to welcome newcomers and visitors, and stay connected with those who are already part of our community. Hosts sign up for the Sundays they can serve, and prepare coffee (provided by the church) and provide simple refreshments.
During the program year, Continental Breakfast marks the beginning of our Kairos time, which follows the 8:15 a.m. service, and Coffee & Fellowship follows the 10:30 a.m. service. Hosting is fun, and members of our Hospitality Committee are happy to serve alongside new hosts. To join the ranks of the Sunday morning hosts during the program year, please contact the church office.

During the summer months, following the 10:30 a.m. worship service, Coffee & Fellowship moves outside in front of the church and becomes Cookies & Lemonade! Simpler offerings make it a breeze to host. You provide the cookies (store-bought is fine!), the church provides the lemonade, and everyone enjoys some time together after church. Instructions are provided, and experienced co-hosts are available to lend a hand.
Friends of Music
The Friends of Music are a group of volunteers who provide hospitality and logistical support for special musical events such as the St. Paul’s, Ivy Concert Series, hosting receptions, acting as ushers, and performing other supportive duties as may be helpful. With a current roster of roughly sixteen, any Friend might be called on only once or twice a year, and the only requirement for participation is interest!
If you would like to volunteer your time and talent to support welcoming musical events at St. Paul’s, email Director of Music Ministries Gabe Simerson.
The Red Door Guild
St. Paul’s, Ivy is well-known for our warm and welcoming community. The Red Door Guild serves as the first friendly faces our visitors, guests, and members see on Sunday mornings. If you enjoy meeting new (and new-to-you) people on Sundays and would like to help introduce visitors to our parish, you would enjoy serving as a member of the Red Door Guild! Members of the Red Door Guild, please use this link to sign up for a Sunday time slot.
Evening Ushers
On Sunday evenings, we offer beautiful worship opportunities through our Evensong and Compline services. Each of these services relies on our Evening Ushers to extend a warm welcome before and inviting fellowship after each of these services. Evening Ushers arrive early, ensure that the space is properly set up, welcome attendees, and assemble the after-service reception.
Please contact Mthr. Amanda for more information about any of these ministry opportunities.
