The St. Paul’s, Ivy Concert Series was founded in 2025 under the leadership of Artistic Director Gabriel Rhys Simerson and aims to make a high-quality, diverse selection of the arts accessible to anyone who finds us. Our concerts are open to all and free of charge, and include a post-concert reception with food, beverages, and the company of the artists and neighbors who seek the same shared experience of beauty. We plan to offer three or four concerts per year, between September and May.
The series is funded solely by ongoing private donations and runs independently from the church’s operating budget. Your contributions are always welcome; please visit our Give webpage to donate to the Music Concert Series Fund. See our growing list of donors!

Friends of Music:
The Friends of Music are a group of volunteers who provide hospitality and logistical support for special musical events such as the St. Paul’s, Ivy Concert Series, hosting receptions, acting as ushers, and performing other supportive duties as may be helpful. With a current roster of roughly sixteen, any Friend might be called on only once or twice a year, and the only requirement for participation is interest!
If you would like to volunteer your time and talent to support welcoming musical events at St. Paul’s, email Director of Music Ministries Gabe Simerson.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I have to register or pay admission?
No! All concerts are free and open to all. If a concert is expected to reach building capacity, there may be registration requirements, which will be communicated in advance.
Is it all church and organ music?
No! While organ and choral music will appear in some concerts, our series also includes various types of other music, from gospel to chamber music.
Is the building accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes; the main sanctuary doors, which are close to handicapped parking, are on the same level as the church, and reception and restroom facilities are accessible on one level via the outside sidewalk through the courtyard.
Is there parking?
Yes! There is a large parking lot on campus, at no charge.
I'm unable to give any money; am I still welcome?
Absolutely! Our goal is to make sure anyone who wants to hear great music can do so.
I'm interested in exploring more music at St. Paul's. How do I do that?
What a wonderful question! Check out information about our music program, or send Gabriel Rhys Simerson, our Director of Music Ministries an email.
