Prayer Square Ministry

This ministry (formerly Phil’s Knit & Stitch) is open to anyone interested in crocheting or knitting small prayer squares to be blessed by our clergy and given to our newcomers and others who need a sign of comfort during a difficult time. Click here to download the pattern. Yarn and help from experienced needle crafters are also available if needed.

Meals Ministry

The Meals Ministry at St. Paul’s, Ivy offers comfort and care during life’s most challenging moments through the simple gift of a home-cooked meal. Whether welcoming a new baby, recovering from surgery, facing an illness, or navigating another difficult season, parishioners are supported by the kindness of this caring community.

This ministry helps keep our parish connected by making sure no one has to walk through major life events alone. Volunteers provide meals for individuals and families in need, offering both practical help and a reminder that their church family is thinking of them and praying for them.

Serving is simple and flexible. Meals are organized through SignUpGenius, with schedules and delivery instructions provided for each request. By signing up, you’ll be added to the Meals Ministry email list and notified when opportunities to help arise. Thank you for your interest in supporting this meaningful ministry of care and compassion.

Lay Eucharistic Visitors

Lay Eucharistic Visitors St. Paul’s, Ivy, is in the process of restarting the LEV ministry, in which parishioners take Holy Communion to members who are ill, hospitalized, or otherwise unable to attend church services. Participating in this ministry will require training at St. Paul’s, Ivy, and licensure by the Diocese of Virginia.
