Prayer Square Ministry This ministry (formerly Phil’s Knit & Stitch) is open to anyone interested in crocheting or knitting small prayer squares to be blessed by our clergy and given to our newcomers and others who need a sign of comfort during a difficult time. Click here to download the pattern. Yarn and help from experienced needle crafters are also available if needed.
Meals Ministry There’s nothing more comforting during a difficult time than a home-cooked meal, and the St. Paul’s, Ivy, Meals Ministry offers just such support to families who have welcomed a new baby, folks who are ill or have had surgery, and others going through tough times. Signups are simple, and directions are provided.
Lay Eucharistic Visitors St. Paul’s, Ivy, is in the process of restarting the LEV ministry, in which parishioners take Holy Communion to members who are ill, hospitalized, or otherwise unable to attend church services. Participating in this ministry will require training at St. Paul’s, Ivy, and licensure by the Diocese of Virginia.
