Serve
In our Baptismal Covenant, we promise to seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving our neighbors as ourselves. We also commit to striving for justice and peace among all people, respecting the dignity of every human being (Book of Common Prayer, p. 305). Thankfully, these promises are made with the admission that we will need and will have the help of God in their fulfillment!
At St. Paul’s Ivy, we offer direct assistance and prayerful support to neighbors near and far through programs like our monthly food pantry, our partnership with the St. James School in Philadelphia, and work with our sister parish St. Paul’s, in Nzali Tanzania. However you might feel called to serve – in prayer, through financial support, or direct action – there’s a place for you to get involved here!
