It’s hard to believe another summer is coming to an end, but for the St. Paul’s, Ivy family, that’s good news, because it means that it’s almost the start of a new program year and PICNIC TIME! On September 11 things really get rolling around SPI – Continental Breakfast returns, Children, Youth and Adult Formation begin, and we’ll be gathering at 5:30 p.m. again for a Contemplative Prayer worship service. You won’t want to miss the first Rector’s Forum, between the 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. worship services in the sanctuary, when Fr. Justin fills us in on the State of the Parish. Continental Breakfast will be available in the Parish Hall.
Following the 10:30 a.m. service on September 11, stay and celebrate with us at our fall Homecoming Picnic, where you can catch up with all your church friends and family and hear about everyone’s summer adventures. As always, we’ll provide the Michie Tavern chicken (fried and baked!), beverages, and all the desserts – and you can bring your favorite picnic side to share. Come to church in your picnic clothes and stay for the fun and fellowship! We’re looking forward to a great year together!
