We’d like to think that neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail shall keep the church from opening, but to ensure your safety, sometimes we’ll have to make cancelations. We’ve developed a few protocols to let you know what’s happening (or not happening) at the church.

Any changes to or cancellations of our morning services and events will be announced by email and an announcement at the top of our website homepage by 6:30 a.m. Changes to our evening service and other events will be announced in the same way by 4:00 p.m.

Partial Morning Cancellation

When the weather and roads are unsafe in the early morning but should clear up by 10:30 a.m., we will cancel the 8:15 a.m. Rite I service (along with Kairos and Coffee & Fellowship), but we will offer Rite II worship in person at 10:30 a.m. in the church.

Full Morning Cancellation

If it looks like we are in for a full day of bad weather, all morning worship and activities at the church will be canceled. We will offer Morning Prayer Rite II on Zoom at 10:30 a.m., and a Zoom link will be provided to you in the email that announces the cancellation.

Evening Cancellations

If bad weather persists or strikes in the afternoon, we will cancel both Contemplative Evening Prayer and S’Mores and More Youth Gathering.

Please err on the side of safety when the weather gets dicey; we want everyone to stay safe and feel secure!
